01
Scripture
We hold all 66 books of the Bible as the only inspired word of God: acceptable and sacred Holy Scripture. We do not acknowledge the Apocrypha, Pseudepigrapha, Gnostic gospels, Book of Mormon, or anything of the like to be divinely inspired.
2 Timothy 3:16; Galatians 1:8
02
Divinity
We believe that the God of Christianity (Yahweh—Jesus—Holy Spirit) is the creator of all things, and is all-powerful, all-knowing, and sovereign to do as He wills.
Acts 14:15; Jeremiah 32:17; Ephesians 3:20; Psalm 139:1–4; 1 Samuel 2:6–9; Psalm 24:1
We believe that God is one, but reveals Himself through the roles of three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we believe that each person of this structure is equally God.
2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Romans 1:7; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1; Acts 5:3; Hebrews 9:14; John 4:24
03
Virgin Birth
We believe that Jesus was literally conceived and born, flesh and blood, of a virgin named Mary.
Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:26–33
04
Sin
We confess that all of humanity has fallen short of God’s glory and is in need of salvation; hence the reason Jesus came to the earth.
Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Romans 5:8; John 14:6
05
Salvation
We proclaim that Jesus lived a sinless life; thereby being qualified to forgive our sins with His blood.
1 Peter 2:22; 1 John 3:5
We declare that salvation is in none other than through the name, person, work, life, death, resurrection, and grace of Jesus Christ alone. Further, we believe that Jesus Christ was literally (bodily) resurrected from the dead and is alive forevermore, ruling with the Father.
John 14:6; John 3:16; John 10:17–18; Romans 1:4; Romans 5:8
06
Eternity
We believe that those who die refusing God’s salvation spend eternity separated from the Father.
Psalm 9:17; Psalm 73:12–19; Daniel 12:3; Matthew 25:46; Luke 16:23–26; John 12:48; 2 Thessalonians 1:8–9
We confirm that those who belong to Christ will inherit eternal life.
Daniel 12:2–3; Matthew 25:46; John 3:16, 17:3; 2 Corinthians 4:17; 2 Timothy 2:10
07
Resurrection
We earnestly await Christ’s return to gather His people, both the living and the dead.
Matthew 24:30–36; John 14:1–3; 1 Corinthians 15:21–23; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
08
Rites and Ordinances
We regard worship as the very foundation upon which every rite of the Christian faith stands.
Exodus 20:3; Matthew 22:38; John 4:23; Revelation 4
We observe communion (the bread and the cup) as a means to remember our Lord.
Luke 22:19; 1 Corinthians 11:24
09
Christ’s Lordship
We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, supreme over all rule and authority, and the first place in all things.
Philippians 2:9–11; Colossians 1:15–20; Ephesians 1:20–22; Hebrews 1:3–4
